Congratulations to the Community of Independents collective, and all involved on creating a fantastic documentary on the community around independent music in Ireland. Also, great to see footage from some of my favourite gigs over the last few years. This is well worth an hour or so of your time.
We're thrilled to announce our very first showcase gig in London, on May 25th. Alarmist and Eatenbybears will be joined by locals Etiquette and Slipdraft will be providing optical treats on the night.

For those of you planning to take in the sights and sounds of this year's Body and Soul Festival, be sure to visit the dance tent. The lads have something pretty epic in the works.

Preparations are underway for new Alarmist, Eatenbybears and Overhead, The Albatross records, while Rachael Boyd will shortly be annoncing plans for some live shows later this summer.
Thanks to all that came out, and those who stuck around after the Mmoths show. We're delighted with how the tour went and with that under our belts, it's on to bigger and better things. We'll announce the next few bookings in early March and fingers crossed this will hit the UK later this year.

Limerick, Belfast, Mullingar and Galway were a pleasure. Thanks to everyone that came along. On Monday Alarmist were in Sun Studios putting down two tracks and we filmed the day's proceedings, so expect some videos soon. Next up are Derry, Cork and Dublin. Don't miss these shows!

February 11th, 2012. The Twisted Pepper
Joe and Vinnie, familiar to many as the bassist and guitarist from Overhead, The Albatross have recently launched a brand new boutique music venue located on Dame Lane at the Speakeasy in Dublin city centre. The guys have been flat out setting up a space based around a first class sound system and a free gig ethos, which we hope to utilize at some point, so swing by and see what the fuss is about.
Le Tissier put together this video using footage from the build and performances from our New Year's Eve
show. Great jorb, guoys.
We got a new website and while it's in it's very early days, fear not- we plan on putting all sorts of interesting stuff up here over the coming months.
For the time being, please browse through our expanding collective of artists and check out what's coming up in the events section.
