Eleven Eleven are an independent record label/Media Collective, based in Dublin, Ireland. Established in 2009 by Gary Tuohy, founder of Muzzle Music; a premium rehearsal facility and distributor/dealership for professional music equipment including the exclusive supply of boutique effects pedals by zVex and Jam.
ElevenEleven currently represents Dublin based bands Friendquestionmark and Overhead, The Albatross; jointly releasing their EP's to a capacity crowd in Dublin's Workman's Club in early April 2011.
Both bands have experienced consistent exposure in local, national and international media, appearing on RTE, Phantom, 2XM, BBC NI/UK. They have individually toured the UK and Ireland, appearing alongside the likes of And So I Watch You From Afar, Talons, This Will Destroy You, Shapes and many others. Friendquestionmark have a colourful history of working alongside live visual artists, most recently collaborating with Le Tissier to create a bespoke audio-visual experience which they will perform at this year's Electric Picnic festival.
Multi-instrumentalists Alarmist joined the Label in July 2011 and are currently lining up their first release on August 19th in Block T.
In recent years, the Irish music scene has seen a healthy expansion in to national and international markets and audiences, ever increasing the artists' reliance on imaginative, professional and stable representation. Josh Marshal and Mark King of Friendquestionmark have joined Gary in the day to day running of the label to facilitate the time and space required to effectively manage responsibilities and discover new opportunities in music promotion and representation.
We endeavor to add to our artist roster with exciting and imaginative new acts and commit to developing and maintaining new, innovative methods of promoting and distributing Irish music here and abroad.
