// Bantum 'Legion' release details

Bantum Album Launch

Ruairi Lynch aka Bantum releases his much anticipated debut album "Legion" on vinyl and digital download on Friday, October 12th.

"Legion is a showcase of Ruairi's experience and compatibility with an ever increasing range of genres, artists and styles, featuring collaborations with a handful of familiar locals including R.S.A.G., Margie Lewis and Owensie. Legion is a step forward from the previous EPs, seamlessly integrating the trademark grooves and polished sampling to 11 brand new tracks from chilled IDM laced with acoustic instruments to sub riddled electro hooks."

First class support on the night comes from atmospheric electronica maestro, Reid and genre hopping electronic champs, Ghosts. LeTissier are also preparing a right visual treat; you won't recognise The Workman's Club...

Facebook event page right here. It's going to be a belter.

// Video: Body and Soul visuals

Earlier this year, we were commissioned to build a visual installation for Body and Soul's UPSTAGE. Le Tissier and Slipdraft created the concept and spent a week on the build and installation of our biggest project to date. Big thanks to Body & Soul for taking on this project and working with us to deliver it so smoothly. Also, massive thanks to Ciaran Healy for shooting the footage, Slipdraft for the edit, all the artists that gave it socks up there over the weekend. We had some fun with this one....

The fundraiser is tomorrow in The Workman's Club.

// Croupier play Heft Fest III

Thumped.com: "Heft Fest III is fast approaching. Following from last year’s two mini festivals in Whelan’s we have sought to raise the bar this year with more bands, more diversity and more stages! Doors are at 3PM in the Grand Social with Hello Moon kicking things off at 3.30. The running order will be finalised next week.

There will be a BBQ in the beer garden alongside our acoustic stage."

// Thank you, Electric Picnic

We all had a blast this year. More than ever, in fact. Betwen the lads all putting in a whopper effort, the weather, the sterling line up, the new stages and revisiting the old, this year was hands down my favourite to date. Thank you to everyone that we worked with, and the crew and management that make Picnic happen. It's a gem.

// A Workman's Wonderland

This weekend, The Workman's club celebrates the generally gloomy weekend following the bank holiday by opening their doors free of charge and putting on a right old show. Amongst many more, Alarmist and Overhead, the Albatross will be playing on Saturday night, but check out the full programme on Facebook and get stuck in to a cheap, deadly weekend. We'll be there from Saturday afternoon operating a pop up record shop alongside The Richter Collective plus a few more labels, and of course, having the bant. Come say hello.

// Bantum album on October 12th

We are thrilled to welcome another new addition to the ElevenEleven family. On October 12th, we will release Ruairi Lynch's beautiful new album, 'Legion' on vinyl and digital. We've been following Ruairi's music for quite some time now, and after witnessing his performance at the NYE showcase in Twisted Pepper, I don't think anyone can argue his potential. Amazingly, his album exceeds expectations and we're uber proud to have it on the label.

For those unfamiliar with his work, you can download his 4 EPs for free on Bandcamp and check him out at this year's Electric Picnic festival. More details as we have them...

// Croupier. Whelans. August 24th.

If you happened to miss us harping on, or perhaps overlooked that large image to your left, then please take note; Croupier's debut album is set for August 24th release on ElevenEleven. The first single to get stuck in your head is no other than Creo Beast. By all means, download and enjoy.

// Le Tissier on the tellybox

The latest from episode of Community of Independents features LeTissier discussing their role in big shiny things with footage from the Body and Soul installation and a big finish from Colly. Special thanks to the Tropical Thunder, Mango Magic, our very own, home grown, take-me-home, Ciaran Mangan for the interview.

// Stick this up your summer

Eaten By Bears video for their brand new track 'Simple as Hell' is up for your viewing pleasure, and can be downloaded for the price of an ice cream here. The lads are playing Somfest in Portugal this weekend if anyone fancies a holiday.

// The Richter Collective's last year

As most of you reading this already know, The Richter Collective have decided to call it a day at the end of 2012. You only have to look on Facebook or Twitter right now to see how this news is resonating among those who are aware of the unparalled work these guys have done in a relatively short space of time, and having such a solid home for so many flagship Irish artists will be greatly missed. I recall quite clearly the launch gig in the Lower Deck, little over 4 years ago, at a time when many were establishing some description of promotional collectives. But few stood the test of time, and none with the imagination, determination, passion and execution of Richter. Rather than dwell on the sad news, we want to say thanks to the lads for giving us such great memories and inspiring many to do things by themselves. Most of all, thank you for releasing music that will live on long beyond December. We wish you the very best of luck.

You can continue to buy Richter Collective releases on their website and Bandcamp.

// Croupier album on ElevenEleven

It's with muchos, muchos excitement that we can announce our buddies Croupier will be releasing their debut album on ElevenEleven. I've been playing shows with these guys since about 2 years ago and each has been such a pleasure, it's hard to believe the album could do them justice, but by the beard of Zeus, has it... More info on the release and the shows that will accompany it up soon.

// Watch 'A Joyful Slog'

Congratulations to the Community of Independents collective, and all involved on creating a fantastic documentary on the community around independent music in Ireland. Also, great to see footage from some of my favourite gigs over the last few years. This is well worth an hour or so of your time.

We're thrilled to announce our very first showcase gig in London, on May 25th. Alarmist and Eatenbybears will be joined by locals Etiquette and Slipdraft will be providing optical treats on the night.
